Stanley Case Works and CARB Standards

Stanley Case Works, located in Stanley Wisconsin uses plywood panels in the manufacture of its trunks, cases, and boxes sold via their website at Trunksusa.com.  These panels, made in the USA, Canada, and Southeast Asia, must meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) regarding formaldehyde  emissions.  The stated goals of CARB include attaining and maintaining healthy air quality; protecting the public from exposure to toxic air contaminants; and providing innovative approaches for complying with air pollution rules and regulations.

To meet these regulations, glues used in the manufacture of these plywood panels must meet strict requirements verified through regular testing.  Stanley Case Works states that their customers can be assured that all the panels used to make their trunks comply with current US and California formaldehyde emission standards
